Criteria

Full-Time Faculty:

  • Qualification: Master's Degree (at least 16 years education) in relevant subject
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years teaching SSC/HSSC classes
  • Skills: Subject mastery, classroom management, communication skills, use of modern teaching aids

Visiting Faculty:

  • Qualification: Master's or at least Bachelor's Degree (14-16 years education) in relevant subject
  • Experience: Fresh graduates or experienced teachers
  • Skills: Command over subject, ability to teach specific courses or short modules effectively

Terms and Conditions

  • Nature of Appointment: Full-time: Annual contract, renewable on performance review. Visiting: Course/session-based agreement.
  • Working Hours: Full-time: 6 days a week, 6 periods per day. Visiting: As per allotted periods.
  • Leave Policy: Full-time: 12 casual leaves per academic year. Visiting: No paid leave.
  • Salary and Payment: Full-time: Fixed monthly salary. Visiting: Payment per lecture or course.
  • Duties: Full syllabus coverage, test paper preparation, attendance and result records, school activities.
  • Termination: Full-time: One month notice or salary in lieu. Visiting: As per course/module completion.
  • Dress Code: Professional and decent appearance.
  • Discipline: Adherence to school rules; respect for students, staff, and management.

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for Faculty

A. Academic Responsibilities:

  • Complete syllabus with planning.
  • Deliver lectures per academic standards.
  • Assign and check homework regularly.
  • Prepare students for Board Examinations.

B. Student Management:

  • Maintain discipline.
  • Motivate students.
  • Support weak students.

C. Assessment & Evaluation:

  • Prepare quizzes, tests, exams.
  • Mark and submit results timely.

D. Reporting and Coordination:

  • Submit progress reports.
  • Attend meetings and workshops.

E. Professional Ethics:

  • Maintain confidentiality.
  • Display fairness and respect.

F. Development and Training:

  • Participate in professional development sessions.

Note:

  • Preference to candidates with Board Exam preparation experience.
  • Training for Board Paper Marking Techniques will be provided.
